About Us
The Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce is a new organization committed to serving the communities of Kankakee, Bradley and Aroma Park, Illinois.
The Chamber is diverse - including businesses that are run out of multi-million dollar facilities; many from traditional storefronts; and still others run out of kitchens and home offices.
Kankakee Chamber of Commerce's Key Points:
- Work with local businesses and schools to better prepare students for specific jobs and industries
- Establish "The Kankakee Forum" a series of events focused on topics relevant to Kankakee that highlight success
- Have a board and a Chamber membership that reflects the diversity of the City's business community
- Think strategically about the business environment in Kankakee and work together to devise ways to further improve the business climate in Kankakee, Bradley and Aroma Park
- Continue to work toward building partnerships with other local Chambers of Commerce and cooperating on regional issues
