Alexis Kessler recently moved to Kankakee County from Castalia, Ohio, a small town near Cedar Point Amusement Park. Alexis joined the Chamber soon after she moved to the area.
In 2021, Alexis graduated from Tiffin University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a minor in Sociology. Alexis is currently a realtor at McColly Bennett Real Estate, and she sees herself working there long-term. Her day-to-day responsibilities include connecting with her clients, showing homes, doing research on the housing market, and networking.
“What sets McColly Bennett Real Estate apart is that our marketing strives to reach our clients through their truest real estate desires,” said Alexis.
Alexis says that the three adjectives that would describe her best would be fearless, straightforward, and independent. Alexis lives by the saying, “What you put your energy into is what you will become”. Her motivation to do her best comes from wanting to give back to her clients and community by listening to their needs and helping how she can.
In her free time, Alexis enjoys going on walks at the Kankakee State Park, working out, and spending time with family and friends. Her perfect day would be described as waking up without an alarm, enjoying a peaceful morning, getting her work done, and then spending time with her boyfriend and loved ones.
Alexis wanted to be a Chamber Ambassador because of the great networking opportunities and getting to meet new people.
“I have already met so many wonderful people since joining the chamber, I am appreciative of the opportunities that the chamber gives everyone” said Alexis.
