Hardworking, passionate, and trustworthy, Megan Carrillo lives to serve people. She is a long-standing Manteno resident and received an Associate in Applied Science Degree, Business, from Kankakee Community College. Megan has been an insurance agent and financial professional with New York Life Insurance since 2020. She joined the Chamber in July of this year and became an Ambassador shortly after as a way to immerse herself deeper into the community.
As a life insurance agent, Megan serves her clients in the areas of business, estate, succession and retirement planning. She focuses on Life, Disability/Wage Continuation and Long-Term Care Solutions. She currently has business certificates in global supply chain management and supply chain management. Megan hopes to become a registered financial advisor to serve her clients in more ways. Megan strives to “help my clients build the most prosperous and strong futures possible.”
Megan loves being a part of the Chamber because it gives her a chance to meet people face to face and be a point of contact for New York Life Insurance. She hopes to contribute more of her time, service, and effort by being more active in events. Megan sees this opportunity as a way to help local businesses by giving them access to protection for themselves and their employees.
Megan strives to take every opportunity to meet and help the people of her community. When she is not working, Megan enjoys being with her domestic partner, Timothy Grazulis, and her animals. She enjoys fishing and professional sports, especially the Blackhawks. Megan’s mantra is, "Stay Positive, Work Hard, and Make it Happen.”
