Amber Turner

Account Manager - Agente Staffing 

Amber has been with Agente Staffing since April 2019. Responsible for effectively developing and managing existing and new client relationships to secure orders for staffing and placement of talent. Works closely with the recruiting team to identify opportunities, assess the feasibility of placement, coordinate the fulfillment of orders, and manage client relationships. Amber has over 24 years of experience in the workforce. 20 years were spent in Higher Education working mainly with the adult student going to college for the first time or coming back to finish their degree.  Amber is involved with the Chamber, KAHRMA-HR, Women United, a Kankakee County Board Member, and has her SHRM-CP certification.  Amber volunteers for many events and activities in the area and recently just joined the planning committee for the Walk to end Alzheimer's.   

Amber joined the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce in 2019, she had not been involved with the community since 2010 due to working in Chicago for the prior 9 years and joining the Chamber was a great entry way into networking and community events.  Once involved she joined the ambassadors, WIN and has participated in several other committees with the chamber. 

Amber earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL and then completed her MBA through Olivet Nazarene University's adult studies department. She has also completed her certification with the Society of Human Resource Management-Certified Professional.  

 Amber was born and raised in Kankakee County and still resides there today with her husband Eric, their daughter Zoey (4). They love to enjoy, volunteer, and participate in community events.
