Emily joined the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce as an ambassador in January 2024 to expand her networking and community outreach. She is a member of the Ambassador, YPN, and Voice of Business committees with the Chamber.
She has been with CSL for 4 years. She manages the safety metrics, KPIs, communications, and employee engagement programs for the Environmental, Health, & Safety department. She runs the Safety Culture Committee and co-runs the Kankakee Green Team where she works on projects and site engagement for employees. She is also active on CSL's United Giving committee which fundraises and promotes volunteerism to local nonprofit organizations in the community.
Emily attended Kankakee Community College and transferred to Illinois State University where she received a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies - Organizational and Leadership Communication. Outside of work, she enjoys being active, spending time with friends and family, and taking her dog Stanley on walks.
Fun Fact: While attending KCC, Emily was on their volleyball team!
