The Salvation Army of Kankakee’s Coat Drive is collecting new coats, gloves, and hats.
Drop off locations include Village of Bourbonnais (Building Inspector Office) and The
Salvation Army of Kankakee. Coat collections begin Friday, October 25 th .
” Our hope this year is to provide winter outerwear for over 100 children and adults.”
says Lieutenant LaToya Surratt, head of the Salvation Army of Kankakee, “The need in
our community is greater than ever. We are especially in need of coats for size XL, 2XL,
and 3XL.”
Help The Salvation Army make a difference in someone’s life and spread the joy of
Christmas this holiday season.
