Area Manager with Aqua Illinois
Angie Serafini is a proud Bourbonnais native and community leader who brings experience in both the public and private sectors. She currently serves as Area Manager for Aqua Illinois. Prior to joining Aqua, Angie spent over a decade in higher education, holding key leadership roles—including Vice President of Enrollment Services at Capital Education and Executive Director of Admissions at Olivet Nazarene University’s School of Graduate and Continuing Studies. In addition to leadership roles she also taught in the classroom, educating business students at both Olivet and Kankakee Community College.
Angie has served on the Village of Bourbonnais Board of Trustees for the past eight years, contributing to major community projects and local initiatives. Her commitment to service extends well beyond village government. She’s an active Chamber Ambassador and a member of numerous community organizations, including the Friendship Festival Committee, United Way, the Bourbonnais Chocolate Tour Committee, and the Ray Ollie Memorial Project Board. She also helps organize the Friendship Festival Veterans Luncheon, a cause close to her heart.
Angie is a graduate of Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School and went on to graduate with an Associates degree from Kankakee Community College holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University. Additionally she has earned Master’s Degrees in Organizational Leadership and Business Administration.  She and Mark are raising their three children: Owen, Mark, and Lilly. Angie loves to spend her free time with her family, who are the joy of her life.
