Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives
The ACCE serves more than 9,000 leaders from 1,300 chambers of commerce. ACCE informs chambers on best practices, industry trends, corporate partners, networking, and new ideas to advance the interests of their communities.
Community Foundation of the Kankakee River Valley
The Community Foundation of KRV is an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of residents by identifying and understanding community issues and seeking grants to enhance support for the community. One initiative by the Community Foundation is Kan-I Help, an information network which connects residents with government agencies, human services, and other non-profits.
Greater Kankakee Black Chamber of Commerce
GKBCC is a non-profit supporting black owned businesses in the Kankakee area. The organization is "positioned to develop, educate, economically empower, sustain, and promote African-American businesses by advocating for economic development through pro-black business legislative policies, entrepreneurship, procurement, community reinvestment, programmatic and professional development, and capitalistic activity within the Kankakee Area."
Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives
IACCE serves more than 100 Illinois Chambers and their professional staff, providing professionals with information, professional development, and communications to carry out the mission of each respective Chamber.
Kankakee Community College: Educate and Elevate program

Kankakee Public Library
The Kankakee Public Library "strives to inform, enrich, and empower all people in the Kankakee community by providing equal access to information and programs." The library provides patrons with a safe environment to learn new skills and have new experiences in addition to providing information resources to patrons.

Workforce Board of Grundy, Livingston, and Kankakee
The GLK Workforce Board is part of a national network involved in workforce preparation and employment, partnering with job seekers, employers, and partners. The board "oversees and sets policy for workforce development and training programs for Grundy, Livingston, and Kankakee Counties."
