Aaron Clark was born and raised in
Kankakee and attended Kankakee
schools. After high school he lived in
Atlanta for 16 years where began his
life as a community activist. He returned
to Kankakee in 2005 as a leader in
racial harmony, empowering youth and
young adults, and building relationships within his community. As the Violence Prevention Coordinator for
Kankakee School District 111 he has coordinated the training of over 400professionals in Kankakee County.
He is also a director for the Kankakee Youth Empowerment Program, providing real-world work experiences for teens to prepare them for their future. He also founded Police STOPS to build assist building community relations with law enforcement and Kankakee Forgives, a movement to reduce violence through the act of forgiving. Aaron and his wife, Pam, live in Kankakee where they have raised 5 of their 7 children.
