After attending a Young Professionals Network event in 2023 Samantha decided to join the Kankakee County Young Professionals Committee for the 2024 event year.
Samantha is a Universal Banker at the People’s Bank of Kankakee County. As a Universal Banker you will find her visiting all three locations of the company, sometimes behind a desk in an office assisting and guiding customers with their one-on-one banking needs, as well as in the teller line greeting customers in the lobby with a bright friendly smile. Known for greeting customers by name, Samantha loves to develop a good relationship with the members of her community and assist them with their banking needs and even lend an ear to make them feel seen and appreciated.
Samantha was born and raised in Will County, just a stone’s throw away, graduating from Reed-Custer High School in 2012. She has two daughters that are her whole world, and works to instill in them an appreciation for travel, the outdoors and adventure, taking them hiking and kayaking as often as possible and teaching them about the ecosystems around us. Samantha enjoys being active in the community as a Soprano I in the KVOS Chorus as well as acting as a Relief Society Sunday School Teacher at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Bourbonnais.
