Kankakee, IL. - Board Bootcamp returns July of 2024. This four-session training is
designed to equip professionals in Kankakee and Iroquois Counties with the skills and knowledge to serve effectively on nonprofit boards.
Board Bootcamp will cover diverse aspects of board service – broken down to be simple and easy to understand. Attendees will hear from current nonprofit board members, network with community leaders, and learn how they can best contribute to the enhancement of our local nonprofit organizations. “I was new to the board and
committee world and was nervous I wouldn’t understand. After finishing this camp, I feel more comfortable taking on this new opportunity and feel good about asking questions.
Great course to take to be more involved in the community!” – Board Bootcamp
participant.
Board Bootcamp is scheduled to begin on July 10th, 2024, continuing July 24th,
August 7th, and concluding August 21st. Sessions will take place from 8-9:30 AM at
Olivet Nazarene University’s Weber Center. The cost per-participant is $50 for all four
sessions.
