The Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit corporation comprised of local businesses and individuals. The Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce is committed to creating a strong community and encouraging a positive business climate. The strength of the Chamber of Commerce is our members--together we promote our individual members and the community at large.
Our Members play a vital role in the Chamber's future by participating in programs, events, and fundraisers that support and promote the Chamber's mission. Our Mission is to provide businesses with essential resources, training, and networking opportunities to retain customers, and strengthen their position within our communities.
We offer partnerships with other local organizations, networking, leadership development and legislative advocacy. We also host a number of special events provide our members the opportunity to communicate with other Chamber members.

Board Members
Board Members are Chamber members who dedicate their time to serving the Chamber in a leadership capacity. They represent the goals and vision of the Chamber moving forward. Board Member nominations can be made using the button below.
Ambassadors
Ambassadors advocate on the behalf of the Chamber by attending Chamber-sponsored events and supporting Chamber interests. Ambassadors must be Chamber members and serve a two year commitment.
Women In Networking
Women In Networking (WIN) is an organization who supports women in business world, giving business women the time and place to connect. WIN members are required to be at all events, committee meetings, and promote the work of WIN.
Young Professionals Network
Young Professionals Network (YPN) is an business network for young professionals. Events are held by the Chamber for the chance for young professionals to connect in the community.
Voice of Business
This committee stays up to date on local and state issues that affect the business community in Kankakee County and keeps the business community informed of the issues. Communicates with local governments, Illinois, legislature and Congress. Grows appropriate relationships to build trust and all the Chamber to be an effective resource for the community.
Membership
This committee assists with growing membership through retention and new member recruitment. Advises and explores value-added benefits for members.
Education & Workforce
This committee will help be a resource for our members and the community. Finding relevant resources to send out to members and partnering with the Colleges. In the Chambers mission it discusses using education to strengthen the business community.
This committee will highlight that and help the Chamber become a valuable resource in the community.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
This committee will help educate, inform and provide members with a safe space to discuss topics on diversity, equity and inclusion. Communicate with members through a quarterly newsletter to keep them updated on events and resources.
